Professional Staff Salaries

The Buckeye Clinic will fund the professional staff salaries.  They will be the only medical professionals based in the area within a 30 mile radius.
They will address immediate health and wellness needs of the 10,000 people in Piol and the surrounding villages. Staff will provide health education, promotion, and nutrition programs and instruction on maternal and child health practices. Staff will also provide vaccinations for children, and general medical services.  For the first time women will be able to be seen by a medical professional during pregnancy and will be able to deliver their babies under medical supervision.

Furnish & Supply Maternity Ward

Furniture and supplies for the four-bed maternity ward will be purchased.  This will enable expectant mothers experiencing problems prior to delivery to stay in the facility under the care of the nurse / midwife.
