Chol Gheu Deng the medical laboratory technology staff at the Buckeye shared the February maternity report for the Buckeye Clinic. There were 29 pregnant mothers who visited the clinic for the first time. This is great news because the earlier mothers come in for care the better for them and their unborn child. This helps the staff find any potential issues. This also shows that clinic staff and women are sharing with one another about the importance of receiving care early. Eight women also returned for a second visit in February. Eight more women came in for their fourth visit. These regular visits increase the chances that there will be healthy deliveries. Amid all these visits eight infants were delivered at the clinic in February. Thanks to the clinic and trained staff these women and babies were able to receive the necessary medical care they needed. The clinic is making a difference in saving lives of the most vulnerable.
